Enhanced security with 2FA, Passkeys and more

In our latest release, we are introducing several robust authentication methods, ensuring that our users have both secure and convenient access to their training scenarios. Here is what’s new:

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

In today’s digital environment, passwords alone are not enough. Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security, ensuring that only you can access your account. With 2FA, you are asked to provide two verification factors to access your Warp Studio account, significantly reducing the risk of unauthorized access. This second verification will be coming from an authenticator app, allowing you to generate verification codes as a second factor for logging in. We support many authenticator apps such as 1Password, Authy, Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator and others.

For clients on our Scale plan we even offer 2FA enforcement, making sure that every member of your workspace is required to set up their account with 2FA.

Passkeys

We're thrilled to introduce Passkeys, a revolutionary way to log in without using traditional passwords. Passkeys are a form of digital key stored securely on your device, using biometrics like fingerprint or facial recognition for authentication. This method is not only highly secure but also incredibly user-friendly, eliminating the need to remember complex passwords. Add these passkeys in profile settings of your account.

Security log

Next to these added security features, a security log is now also shown in your profile. This security log shows all activity related to signing in Warp Studio, including the creation of an authentication code or passkeys.
